Happy 2018 everyone!!! So I have a few New Years resolutions for you guys that I thought would give you a little look into my life 😉 and give you helpful insights on three random New Years resolutions that a lot of people have and that are on my list this year as well! Here we go…
Usually, I wake up around 9-10:30 in the morning!!! Yeah I know it's a bad habit, so I'm changing it this year! I've already started to wake up at 7:30 in the morning and love it! (Which for me is a big deal because I AM NOT A MORNING PERSON!! or at least I wasn't! 😜) Anyway I have three really good and easy life hacks for waking up early that WORK!!!
1: set your alarm across the room so that you're forced to get up and turn it off!
2: set your alarm to an enjoyable sound that will make you exited to get up!
3: sleep with your blinds open so that the sunlight will wake you up! No better way to wake up than to be sun kissed through your bedroom windows 😊☀️
Lets be honest here, (this is a safe place!) none of us drink enough water throughout the day! Did you know that you are supposed to drink half your body weight in ounces?! Yeah, I know! Crazy right?! It may seem impossible trust trust me friends you can do it! Here are some helpful tips that will help you achieve your goal for drinking more water!
1: Go out and buy a cute water bottle! Make drinking water an enjoyable thing to do and let it become a habit! What better way to get into the habit of drinking more water than to have an adorable water bottle with a cute quote or something, right?!
2: add Young Living Essential Oils to your water! Trust me, this makes drinking water WAY more enjoyable! With using oils like, Lemon, Orange, Lime, Jade Lemon, Tangerine, or Citrus Fresh, you can very easily add a citrus twist to your water and give it some flavor! Which is what i personally do! (Plus, these oils are sooooo good for your body in many more ways than I can even describe!!) Or say you don’t feel like citrus, then you can add some YL Peppermint EO for a great workout! (But a LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY!!!) Just this morning, i added Young Living’s Lemon EO to my water, and i LOVE it!!
3: You can even fruit infuse your water! You can really add anything to water! Fruit is another really good way to get your water in! Plus it’s colorful and delicious! You can add things like strawberries and mint leaves, or blueberries and mint with a little ginger! The possibilities are endless here! Plus they are really pretty to look at! Lol 😂 !! 4: or you can even bribe or challenge yourself! (Just go with me for a second!) say to yourself, “I can’t have a piece of that amazing chocolate cake until I drink two more cups of water today!” And get yourself exited in a way like that! Plus it works in an efficient way 😉 And by the time you’re done with your water, you may not even be craving that cake anymore!
I’m sure we all could use a good workout every once in a while right? Plus it’s healthy for you and it’s a great New Years resolution! Why not wake up early with the tips I gave you earlier, and make an amazing, energizing fruit and oil infused water and go to the gym or to the park or whatever?! Exactly! See what I mean, waking up early is very beneficial in many ways! Take a moment and think about how much you could accomplish by waking up early. 🤔 for example… “If I wake up early I can get a head start on cleaning my house, have time to read my Bible or do my daily devotions, and even squeeze in a kick-butt workout so that I can dominate the rest of my day!” See what I mean? Try it and let me know how it works for you 😉🤗😊 here are a few tips for a better workout!
1: make time for one! You can do a morning workout, run, or walk in the mornings, afternoons, or even evenings! I’ve heard great things about going on a sunset run 🏃🏼♀️
2: next, All you have to do is prioritize a bit better and say, ” Ok. I’m going to limit the time I’m on Facebook or Instagram today so that I can go on a walk and take care of the amazing body God have me!” Cause we only get one, so make it count!! You can always make time for something important that you care about! So do you care about your body? Trust me friends, you always have time to take care of yourself! Workout or not 😉.
3: and last be not least, make a plan. And I mean a detailed, and prioritized plan that works with your schedule! And not just say, “I’m going to go to the gym Monday, Wednesday, and Friday all at four o’clock in the afternoon.” Because plans might change and when you get to the gym or whatever you’re not going to know what you want to do while you’re there! So devise a workout plan that fits your schedule and work times. Now make it detailed. Write down what you want to do when you get to the gym and how long you plan on staying there! Like for example, write down that you want to do 10 bur-pees, 10 push ups, and 15 sprints. (That’s just an example of course,) but do you see where I’m going here? So those are the basic New Years resolutions that I have this year, but I chose those specifically because I know that these are what a lot of people want to change starting this year! So hopefully this was helpful 😉😎
