My First Book Haul!!!

Hey hey friends! So today I thought I’d do a random video for you guys! I bring to you my first ever book haul!!! Da dun daaaa!!!

Let’s be honest here, I’ve gotten quite a few books in the fast month and a half! (16 to be exact 😬) but I’m not addicted to books: we are just in a committed relationship! Lol 😋

Anyway, I thought I’d share with you all which books I got! So I hope you all like this video, I had a lot of fun making it and hopefully you’ll enjoy it!

My Fave Matcha Green Tea Drink!!!

Hey hey everyone! OK, so i fell in love with Matcha a while ago and it occurred to me that yesterday that i could try making my own Matcha drink! Because i go around coffee shops and things to find Matcha lattes, frappes, smoothies, etc., etc. So this morning i through a bunch of stuff in the blender and created this awesome recipe for you guys! And let me tell you, it’s pretty awesome!
OK, so for all those out there who don’t really know what Matcha is, or they are curious, relax i got you covered! 😉 Matcha green tea powder IS green tea, but instead of steaming the leaves and all that stuff, they simply ground the green tea leaves, therefore making it much more concentrated! It does, however have a completely different flavor than regular green tea! It’s sweeter, in a way! It has a distinct flavor, and some people might say it has a grassy flavor. And if it’s your first trying it without mixing anything else into it, then yeah you might be tasting those notes 😉 Along with being much more concentrated, it has quite a few health beneficial qualities as well!!! It is packed with powerful EGCG, it boosts metabolism and burns calories, detoxifies the body effectively and naturally, is rich in fiber, chlorophyll, and vitamins, enhances concentration and lifts the mood! Pretty awesome, hey?
So what are we waiting for?! Let jump right in!!!

Ingredients:

1: I cup vanilla almond milk (or regular)
2: I teaspoon honey or agave (for sweetness)
3: 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
4: 1-3 tablespoons of Matcha Green Tea powder! (I got mine at my local health-food store 🙂 )

Blend all ingredients in a blender for around thirty seconds, just until the Matcha has dissolved into the milk and there is no clumps! Then just pour over ice and enjoy! (You can add more of something for your personal preference! 🙂 )

Homemade Peanut Butter Cookies!

Hey hey guys! It’s been a while since I’ve posted, so I went with my classic (and famous) homemade peanut butter cookies recipe!

I made a video for the tutorial, and then once it was finished and saved, I watched it and noticed quite a few typos! So sorry about that!

But I will have the written recipe here also!

1: 1 cup of peanut butter

2: 1 1/2 cup flour

3: I cup sugar

4: I egg

5: 1/2 teaspoon BAKING SODA!!!

6: 1/2 teaspoon salt

7: I teaspoon vanilla extract

8: I stick of butter (half cup)

Playlist Book Tag (Special Edition!)

Hey guys I’m back! (Sorry I know it’s been a little while!!!) Can you believe it’s almost Valentines Day?! I know, me neither!!!

But anyway, today’s video is another Playlist Book Tag! But this one is slightly different! I can only use the songs from The Greatest Showman soundtrack!

I have used some of these books in the past Playlist Book Tag I did, so you’ll see a few of those in there 😉

I also didn’t notice until I completed the video, that the more than half of the video was to the sideways 😬 sorry! so just work with me in that one!

Floral Heaven Fab Sugar Scrub!

I am back with yet another sugar scrub recipe that is just the bomb.com :p It smells absolutely fabulous and will do wanders for your skin!!! So do you want to know how to get super moisturized hands without using ANY harsh chemicals on your skin? Well then try this recipe and let me know how it works for you 🙂

Here it is…

Ingredients:

1: 1 cup sugar
2: 1/4 – 1/2 cup carrier oil (olive oil, avocado oil, sunflower oil, etc.)
3: 5 drops YL Geranium EO
4: 7 drops YL Ylang Ylang EO
5: 3-5 drops YL EndoFlex EO
6: 7-10 drops YL Lavender EO
7: Good sized seal-able jar (Like a Mason Jar ;))

Time To Mix!

So first, you are going to put your sugar in your jar. Then add your essential oils to your carrier oil (I used olive oil.) in a small bowl and stir to combine. Add the carrier and EO mixture to the sugar and mix until you have the constancy of wet sand. You can always add more of something as well! So if your sugar scrub is too wet, add more sugar. Or if the oil’s scent isn’t strong enough for you, you can always add more of something but you can never take away! So just be cautious there 😉 And then of course if your scrub it too dry you can add more of your carrier oil! If you are going to give this as a gift, you can add some decorative ribbon or stickers to the lid and add a label telling what is in it!
So there you have it friends, a floral heaven sugar scrub that smells like, well, floral heaven!!! I will be back later with “How To De-Stress After A Long Day!” So, stay tuned for that!

Hello 2018!!!

Happy 2018 everyone!!! So I have a few New Years resolutions for you guys that I thought would give you a little look into my life 😉 and give you helpful insights on three random New Years resolutions that a lot of people have and that are on my list this year as well! Here we go…

Usually, I wake up around 9-10:30 in the morning!!! Yeah I know it's a bad habit, so I'm changing it this year! I've already started to wake up at 7:30 in the morning and love it! (Which for me is a big deal because I AM NOT A MORNING PERSON!! or at least I wasn't! 😜) Anyway I have three really good and easy life hacks for waking up early that WORK!!!

1: set your alarm across the room so that you're forced to get up and turn it off!

2: set your alarm to an enjoyable sound that will make you exited to get up!

3: sleep with your blinds open so that the sunlight will wake you up! No better way to wake up than to be sun kissed through your bedroom windows 😊☀️

Lets be honest here, (this is a safe place!) none of us drink enough water throughout the day! Did you know that you are supposed to drink half your body weight in ounces?! Yeah, I know! Crazy right?! It may seem impossible trust trust me friends you can do it! Here are some helpful tips that will help you achieve your goal for drinking more water!

1: Go out and buy a cute water bottle! Make drinking water an enjoyable thing to do and let it become a habit! What better way to get into the habit of drinking more water than to have an adorable water bottle with a cute quote or something, right?!

2: add Young Living Essential Oils to your water! Trust me, this makes drinking water WAY more enjoyable! With using oils like, Lemon, Orange, Lime, Jade Lemon, Tangerine, or Citrus Fresh, you can very easily add a citrus twist to your water and give it some flavor! Which is what i personally do! (Plus, these oils are sooooo good for your body in many more ways than I can even describe!!) Or say you don’t feel like citrus, then you can add some YL Peppermint EO for a great workout! (But a LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY!!!) Just this morning, i added Young Living’s Lemon EO to my water, and i LOVE it!!

3: You can even fruit infuse your water! You can really add anything to water! Fruit is another really good way to get your water in! Plus it’s colorful and delicious! You can add things like strawberries and mint leaves, or blueberries and mint with a little ginger! The possibilities are endless here! Plus they are really pretty to look at! Lol 😂 !! 4: or you can even bribe or challenge yourself! (Just go with me for a second!) say to yourself, “I can’t have a piece of that amazing chocolate cake until I drink two more cups of water today!” And get yourself exited in a way like that! Plus it works in an efficient way 😉 And by the time you’re done with your water, you may not even be craving that cake anymore!

I’m sure we all could use a good workout every once in a while right? Plus it’s healthy for you and it’s a great New Years resolution! Why not wake up early with the tips I gave you earlier, and make an amazing, energizing fruit and oil infused water and go to the gym or to the park or whatever?! Exactly! See what I mean, waking up early is very beneficial in many ways! Take a moment and think about how much you could accomplish by waking up early. 🤔 for example… “If I wake up early I can get a head start on cleaning my house, have time to read my Bible or do my daily devotions, and even squeeze in a kick-butt workout so that I can dominate the rest of my day!” See what I mean? Try it and let me know how it works for you 😉🤗😊 here are a few tips for a better workout!

1: make time for one! You can do a morning workout, run, or walk in the mornings, afternoons, or even evenings! I’ve heard great things about going on a sunset run 🏃🏼‍♀️

2: next, All you have to do is prioritize a bit better and say, ” Ok. I’m going to limit the time I’m on Facebook or Instagram today so that I can go on a walk and take care of the amazing body God have me!” Cause we only get one, so make it count!! You can always make time for something important that you care about! So do you care about your body? Trust me friends, you always have time to take care of yourself! Workout or not 😉.

3: and last be not least, make a plan. And I mean a detailed, and prioritized plan that works with your schedule! And not just say, “I’m going to go to the gym Monday, Wednesday, and Friday all at four o’clock in the afternoon.” Because plans might change and when you get to the gym or whatever you’re not going to know what you want to do while you’re there! So devise a workout plan that fits your schedule and work times. Now make it detailed. Write down what you want to do when you get to the gym and how long you plan on staying there! Like for example, write down that you want to do 10 bur-pees, 10 push ups, and 15 sprints. (That’s just an example of course,) but do you see where I’m going here? So those are the basic New Years resolutions that I have this year, but I chose those specifically because I know that these are what a lot of people want to change starting this year! So hopefully this was helpful 😉😎
